Qader Ghulam

I, Dr Ghulam Qader Qader, MD, DPH, MPH, am a medical doctor and public health specialist with over 20 years of experience in tuberculosis (TB) prevention, care coordination, and health system strengthening. I have served in senior technical and advisory roles with organizations such as the World Health Organization, Management Sciences for Health (MSH), Jhpiego, university of Sydney and Johns Hopkins, leading national TB initiatives, Directly Observed Therapy (DOT) programs, and community-based case detection. I have extensive expertise in program design, monitoring and evaluation, operational research, resource allocation and policy development, supported by multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations at international conferences. I am currently focusing on integrating clinical practice with evidence-based public health approaches to improve patient-centred TB and infectious disease care, continuing advancing global health outcomes.

I hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Balkh University, a Diploma in Public Health (DPH) from Kardan Institute of Business Administration, and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Jodhpur National University, India. My academic background combines clinical medicine with advanced training in epidemiology, health systems management, and tuberculosis control, providing a strong foundation for evidence-based public health practice and infectious disease management.
