    Job Description

    • Review weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly narrative reports and provide feedback to relevant sectors
    • Take the lead in internal coordination with programs and finance for submission of narrative and financial report
    • Develop reporting calendar and track reporting timelines from contracts and agreements and share donor reporting templates aligned with the donor expectations with teams ahead of time.
    • Support the Grants Manager in grant opening, review, and closing meetings, including with IRC partners, to ensure that grants are implemented in compliance with the IRC and relevant donor regulations,
    • Ensure that all contracts, agreements, and project key documents are uploaded on the box and maintain filing and documentation of grant and program activities in coordination with relevant sector supervisors and coordinators to ensure institutional knowledge.
    • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all departments, partners, organizations, and actors.
    • Maintain a broad and deep understanding of donor policies, regulations, and procedures and assist program technical leads and operations staff with understanding them.
    • Raise compliance issues proactively with the Grants Manager.
    • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop IRC programs.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree required in relevant field.
    • Minimum 2 to 3 year of professional experience in grant management, program support, non-profits/NGOs, or another relevant field
    • Experience working in report writing and review.
    • Experience in financial reporting preferred.
    • Well organized with attention to detail.
    • Very strong verbal, written, and editing skills in English, Dari, and Pashto.
    • Demonstrated ability to work, manage, and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced and changing work environment
    • Good experience in using office package tools, in particular Excel.
    • Ability to carry out responsibilities independently with minimal technical support.
    • Positive and professional attitude, including the ability to lead and work well in a team setting, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, and solution oriented.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
