    Job Description

    • Responds to ad-hoc research requests on emerging issues.
    • Coordinates field data collection efforts in collaboration with the Senior Assessment Officer and program field team.
    • Supports the design, implementation and follow-up on program research needs.
    • Supports the creation of products that demonstrate the programs strategy, achievements, impact and presence.
    • Support MERL Director for AQBE research deliverables, including: 1) Rapid Education Risk Analysis(RERA); 2) Household Assessments; and 3) Transition Assessments, in coordination with the IRC Airbel Research team;
    • Support for identified national research consultants to oversee the development and delivery of AQBE research deliverables;
    • Training support for research enumerators, as required, in coordination with national research consultants (qualitative and quantitative);
    • Support for IRB processes for AQBE research deliverables;
    • Ensuring follow up for all Airbel research requests in country.
    • Any other duties related to the job assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications

    • 3-4 years and above of needs assessment tool development and support, including digitization and use of Kobo
    • USAID-specific assessment experience (preferred);
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, masters degree is preferable in data management and data sciences
    • Excellent communication and coordination skills
    • Excellent communication skills in Pashto, Dari
    • Wiling to travel and conduct partner visits
