    Job Title: Senior Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager- AQBE Project ( Afghan Nationals Only )

    Job Description

    • Oversee data collection, analysis, and utilization of data to inform adaptive program management.
    • Develop and implement monitoring systems and design monitoring tools.
    • Develop data collection tools.
    • Monitor project activities, outputs and progress towards anticipated results
    • Conducting or providing support to data quality assessments
    • Developing monthly, quarterly or annual reports depending on project requirements
    • Ensure that partners and IRC data systems are established, operational and providing high quality program data in a timely fashion that is standardized across AQBE partners and provinces;
    • Oversee the resolution of challenges and problems with partners on data management and data utilization
    • Oversee monthly data validation exercises for implementing partners
    • Support AQBE-project specific research deliverables, in coordination with the MERL Director, IRC Senior Researcher, and IRC Airbel Research team
    • Oversee and support capacity building for national AQBE partners on data management, assessments and data utilization
    • Raise specific challenges to the AQBE SMT with partner data collection and verification, as required.

    Qualifications

    • 5 to 7 years of MEAL/M&E Management
    • USAID-specific MEAL management experience (preferred) plus experience in INGOs is required
    • Bachelors degree in relevant field , masters degree is preferable in MEAL
    • Excellent communication and coordination skills
    • Excellent communication skills in Pashto, Dari and English.
    • Wiling to travel and conduct field and partner visits.
